本校准规范适用于输出射频电压为正弦波，且射频电压有效值≤3500Vrms、射频电压频率在5MHz～7.5MHz范围内的射频高压试验仪器的校准。射频高压试验仪是用于射频连接器射频高压试验的专用测试仪器，它采用电子管振荡器产生射频电压，它还配备时间控制装置和击穿保护装置。在试验中，被测件在要求的试验电压作用下，达到规定的时间时，射频高位试验仪自动切断试验电压；一旦射频连接器出现击穿，射频高压试验仪能够自动切断输出电压并同时发出报警信号，以确定被测件能否承受规定强度的射频高压。
