本标准规定了钢铁冶炼工艺炉炉壳用钢板的订货内容、尺寸、外形、重量及允许偏差、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、包装、标志和质量证明书等。
本标准适用于高炉、热风炉的壳体（含高炉上升管、下降管、三通管或球节点、除尘器）及炼钢转炉、电炉壳体用厚度不大于100mm的钢板。
