This Standard is applicable to grey cast iron straight pipes made by continuous casting process and used for transportation of water and gas.
The use of cast iron pipes shall refer to relevant piping design technical requirements and construction specification.

1  Classification
    Cast-iron pressure pipes made by continuous casting process can be divided into three grades (Grades LA, A and B) according to the wall thickness.
