1.1 This part specifies the requirements for design, manufacture, inspection, test, , packing and ex-factory documents of bursting disc safety devices.
1.2 This Part is applicable to the bursting disc safety device used for pressure vessels, pipes or other sealing spaces to prevent the overpressure or excess vacuum. The bursting pressure of bursting discs is not greater than 500MPa and not less than 0.001MPa.
1.3 The design, manufacture and inspection of the other categories and types of bursting disc safety devices failing to meet the requirements of GB 567.3 may be implemented with reference to this Part.

For dated reference, subsequent amendments to (excluding correction to), or revisions of, any of these publications do not apply. However, the parties to agreements based on this standard are encouraged to investigate the possibility of applying the most recent editions of the standards.
