This Part specifies the requirements on category, type, code, marking method, mounting dimension and so on for bursting disc safety devices.

This Part is applicable to bursting disc safety devices which are used for preventing overpressurization or over vacuum in pressure vessel, pressure piping or other confined spaces. The bursting pressures of bursting disc shall not be larger than 500MPa and not less than 0.001 MPa.

The following documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text of GB 567, constitute provisions of this Part. For the dated references, the subsequent amendments to (excluding amending error in the text), or revisions of, any of these publications do not apply. However, all parties coming to an agreement according to this Part are encouraged to study whether the latest edition of these documents is applicable. For the undated references, the latest edition of the normative document is applicable to this Part.
