1  Scope

    This standard specifies the basic requirements of classification, design and register for the graphical symbols.
    This standard is applicable to graphical symbols in the fields such as technical product documentation, equipment, sign and information technology.

3  Definitions

    The applied definitions in this standard are in accordance with the requirements of GB/T 15565.

4  Classification

    According to the application fields, the graphical symbols may be divided into graphical symbols for use in technical product documentation, graphical symbols for use on equipment and graphical symbols for use on signs.
