1 Scope
This part of GB/T 20501 specifies the design principles and requirements of location signs which are composed of the graphical symbols, writing, graphical symbols with accessorial writing and the intercombination of location signs in the guidance system for public information.
This part is applicable to the design of location signs for the guidance system for public information in public places are intended for use in, for example, civil airports, railway passenger stations, public traffic hubs and stations, shopping centers, hospitals, sporting, hotels, restaurants, tourism areas and street blocks.
