1 Scope
This standard specifies the model & specification, performance requirements, test methods, inspection rules as well as marking, packaging, transportation, application and maintenance of fire hoses.
This standard is applicable to lined fire hose and fire wet hose, etc.

The model & specification of fire hose (hereinafter referred to as the hose) consist of design working pressure, nominal inside diameter, length, warp/weft materials of braid layer, lining material and covering material.
