4.2  Railway Transportation

4.2.1  Transport packages, whose length, width and height are respectively less than 2400mm, 1800mm and 2512 mm, and whose weight is not larger than 50000kg, are applicable to transportation by vehicles listed in Table 2.

4.2.2  When adopting open-top truck and flat truck listed in Table 2, size and weight of transport packages shall respectively be less than length, width and height as well as rated load-carrying capacity of the minimum cargo space in carriage of such vehicle type; the maximum size and weight shall respectively be less than length, width and height as well as rated load-carrying capacity of the maximum cargo space in carriage of such vehicle type. When adopting box truck, size of transport packages shall be less than minimum inside width, door width, and door height of carriage; maximum size shall be less than maximum inside width, door width, and door height of carriage. Ranges of inside dimension and rated load-carrying capacity of common vehicle carriage by railway are detailed in Table 2, and inside dimension and rated load-carrying capacity of common vehicle carriage by railway are detailed in Appendix B.
