1 General Provisions
1.0.1 This specification was made for the purpose to make the structure design of the chemical and petrochemical constructions meet the existing codes, namely the design principle of structure limit state based on probability theory, and the requirements of safety and usability and economic feasibility.
1.0.2 This specification is applicable to the structure design of the chemical and petrochemical constructions and not applicable to the loading design based on the pipe frame and independent equipment.
1.0.3 This specification complies with the principle and specification of "Unified Standard Reliability Design of Building Structures"(GB 50068-2001) and "Load Code for the Design of Building Structures"(GB 50009-2001) and is the supplement and incarnate of the application to the chemical and petrochemical constructions of "Load Code for the Design of Building Structures" (GB 50009-2001).
Seismic action still shall meet the requirements of "Code for Seismic Design of Buildings" (GB 50011).
1.0.4 This specification mainly aims at the direct effect (load) and partial indirect effect and the application of this specification shall be based on the loading condition proposed by the dominant profession and take this specification as the minimum adopted value.
2 Load Classification
The load acting on the constructions may be divided into the permanent load, variable load and accidental load.
2.0.1 Permanent load
The permanent load is the load whose value doesn't vary with the time, or the variation may be ignored compared with the mean value or the variation is monotonic and tends to the limitation during the installation, production and overhaul of the chemical and petrochemical construction. The main loads are as follows:
1 The total material weight of the permanent fittings and links of the construction (including the fixed separation wall, etc.); the deadweight of the common material and the links may refer to Appendix A in "Load Code for the Design of Building Structures" (GB 50009-2001);
2 The weight of the equipments supporting the structure, such as machinery, empty container, tower and its internal components and electric apparatus, instrument, as well as the operational load in the equipment;
Equipment operation load: in the regular production, the maximum weight of all kinds of liquid or solid materials in the equipment or the pipeline (except the equipment deadweight), the vibration induced by the equipment operation (including the motion equipment, such as pump, compressor, motor and blender) shall be considered together;
3 Pipeline empty weight supporting the structure or the equipment and the weight of the media in the pipeline;
