1 Scope
This standard specifies the limits and measurement methods of fuel consumption for motorcycles and mopeds.
This standard is applicable to motorcycles and mopeds driven by spark-ignition engine and compression-ignition engine.
This standard is not applicable to the vehicles only consuming gas fuel or alcohol fuel.

Type II test
measurement of the average fuel consumption at constant speed
3.3
reference speed
the traveling speed when carrying out fuel consumption test (Type II test)
