本标准规定了金属非金属地下矿山（含伴山氡及其子体矿山）在安全评价、设计、建设和开采过程中对井下通风系统的检测技术要求。
本标准适用于金属非金属地下矿山（含伴山氡及其子体矿山）的安全评价、设计、建设和开采。亦适用于深凹露天矿采用地下井巷开拓的部分。
本标准不适用于放射性矿、煤矿、煤系硫铁矿及其他与煤共生矿藏的开采。
本标准也不适用于石油、天然气、矿泉水等液态或气态矿藏的开采。
