General technical specification for dangerous chemicals major hazard installations monitoring and controlling English 1 Scope This standard specifies the technical requirements of monitoring items, composition and functional design of the major hazard installations safety monitoring controlling and early-warning system of dangerous chemicals. This standard is applicable to the design, construction and management of the safety monitoring controlling and early-warning systems for the new tank area, reservoir area and production site for major hazard installations for hazardous chemicals in the chemical (including petrochemical) industry (hereinafter referred to as the systems), and the system expansion or reconstruction can be implemented by reference to this standard.
