1.0.1 This code is formulated with a view to save energy, protect environment, promote production, improve people's lives, develop district heating services of China and improve the level of engineering design. 1.0.2 This Code is applicable to the design of the following heat network with heating hot water in design pressure of less than or equal to 2.5MPa and in design temperature of less than or equal to 200℃; or heating steam in design pressure of less than or equal to 1.6MPa and in design temperature of less than or equal to 350℃: 1 The district heating network managed by heating enterprises, based on heat source of heat power plant or district boiler room, which is heating for multiple users and connecting from the heat source to the heating station; 2 The process system design of newly-build, extended or reconstructed pipeline, booster pump station and heating station of district heating network 1.0.3 The district heating network design shall comply with the requirements of urban planning, so that state-of-art technology, economic feasibility and safe application may be accomplished, and the esthetic appearance therein shall be noticed. 1.0.4 When designing district heating network in the earthquake, collapsible loess and expansive soil regions, not only shall this Code be carried out, but also shall current "Code for Seismic Design of Outdoor Water Supply Sewerage Gas and Heating Engineering" TJ 32, "Specifications for the Design of Construction in Wet and Depressive Loess Areas" GBJ 25, "Technical Specifications for Construction Ground in Expanding Soil Areas" GBJ 112 and relevant national compulsive standards be met.
