本标准适用于现场快速测定和评估终馏点低于400℃且GB 6540色度不大于5号的馏分燃料中游离水和颗粒污染物。 方法1是一种快速评价馏分燃料中污染物通过或不通过的方法；方法2是对浑浊外观的总的数字评级方法。 注：在低于燃料浊点的温度下测试时，少量的固体蜡质颗粒将可能与含水所导致的浑浊或絮状物相混淆。 两种方法都适用于在存储温度下进行现场测试，或者在规定温度下进行实验室测试。
