1 Scope This Standard specifies the inspection contents and corresponding requirements of boiler, thermodynamic system pressure vessel, and main steam/water piping in thermal power plant during the stages of equipment manufacture, installation and service. This Standard is applicable to the power boiler, thermodynamic system pressure vessel in thermal power plant and main steam/water piping whose rated steam pressure is greater than or equal to 3.8 MPa. Boiler, thermodynamic system pressure vessel and main steam/water piping in thermal power plant whose rated steam pressure is less than 3.8 MPa may make reference to this Standard. This Standard is applicable to the inspection of components in the following scope: a) Pressure element, component and its connecting piece of boiler body; b) Piping within the scope of boiler; c) Safety protective device and instrument of boiler; d) Main bearing structure of boiler; e) Thermodynamic system pressure vessels such as high-pressure and low-pressure heater, pressure-type deaerator and expanding devices; f) Pressure piping such as main steam piping, high-temperature and low-temperature reheated steam piping, main water supply piping, high-pressure and low-pressure bypass piping. 2 Normative References The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this standard. The provisions shall be enforced strictly during the process of relevant design, manufacture, installation, debugging, operation, repair, renovation and inspection. 3.3 The organization engaged in boiler and pressure vessel inspection in thermal power plant (hereinafter referred to as boiler inspection organization) shall obtain the inspection qualification of the national and electric power industry according to the corresponding requirements of the national and electric power industry. 3.4 The personnel engaged in boiler and pressure vessel inspection in thermal power plant shall obtain the inspection qualification certificates of the national and electric power industry according to the corresponding requirements of the national and electric power industry. 3.5 The regulations, codes and standards on which the boiler, pressure vessel and pressure piping are based in the inspection during the stage of manufacture, installation and service shall meet the provisions of the national and electric power industry and the requirements of the regulations, standards and codes designated in the contract.
