1 Scope This standard specifies the Electromagnetic environment parameters limit for ±800kV UHV DC transmission lines under normal operation, including the limit for total ground electric field strength, DC magnetic field, ion current density, radio interference, audible noise and etc. This standard is applicable to the ±800kV UHV DC overhead lines, and DC lines of other voltage grades may be implemented by reference. 2 Normative References The following normative documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this standard. The value of total electric field strength on the ground surface is the total ground electric field strength.
