本标准规定了抽水蓄能机组自动控制系统领域有关的术语和使用环境条件，分别对计算机监控系统、励磁系统和调速器及其油压装置三部分规定了技术条件，并对控制系统必要的技术文件进行了规定。
本标准由中国电力企业联合会提出。
本标准由电力行业水电站自动化标准化技术委员会归口。
本标准负责起草单位：国网电力科学研究院、中国水利水电科学研究院、中国水电顾问集团华东勘测设计研究院、国网新源北京十三陵蓄能电厂。
