本标准适用于单机功率为25MW及以上或转轮公称直径为3m及以上的混流式和轴流式水轮机，单机功率为15MW以上的冲击式水轮机。贯流式水轮机、可逆式水泵水轮机和小于25MW的反击式水轮机以及小于15MW的冲击式水轮机可参照使用。
