Nomenclature for fittings model 1 Scope This standard specifies the nomenclature for fittings model. This standard is applicable to fittings for overhead power lines, substations and power station distribution devices with rated voltage of 35kV and above. 2 Normative references The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only the edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document (including any amendments) applies. GB/T 1179 Round wire concentric lay overhead electrical stranded conductors GB/T 2315 Specified failure load series and coupling dimensions for electric power fittings GB/T 5075 Terminology for electric power fittings 3 General requirements for model nomenclature 3.1 The fittings model designations generally consist of Chinese phonetic alphabets (hereinafter referred to as letters) and Arabic numerals (hereinafter referred to as numbers), and Roman numerals or other numbers shall not be used. 3.2 The letters used in the designations shall be capitalized Chinese phonetic alphabets, and I and O shall not be used. Letters shall not be designated with corner marks. 3.3 The symbols used in the designation shall be multiplication sign (*), left slash (/), dash (-) and decimal point (.).
