本标准规定了进口棒式支柱绝缘子的技术条件、尺寸特性、试验及检验规则。本标准适用于标称电压110kV～500kV、频率不超过1OOHz的交流系统中运行的进口棒式支柱瓷或钢化玻璃绝缘子。本标准中的支柱绝缘子适用于海拔1000m以下，周围环境温度为-40℃～+40℃的地点。当安装地点的自然条件不符合上述情况时，按GB311.1在订货时提出相应的特殊要求。本标准可作为直流系统用支柱绝缘子的参考标准。订货时如有特殊要求及规范中未涉及的情况，供需双方要另立协议说明。
