本标准规定了水工建筑物接缝塑性嵌缝密封材料的分类和功用、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输与储存。
本标准适用于水工建筑物的接缝止水及混凝土建筑物的表面裂缝处理。对于坝高200m以上的混凝土面板堆石坝接缝或有特殊要求的水工建筑物，其塑性嵌缝密封材料的技术要求应进行专门论证。
