1.1 This standard specifies the method to determine dimensional change of textiles and garments with commercial drycleaning machine after perchloroethylene drycleaning. This standard is applicable to the determination of dimensional change for normal material and sensitive material after drycleaning. This standard is not applicable to the determination of dimensional change for very sensitive material after drycleaning. 1.2 This standard determines the dimensional change of specimen after one time of drycleaning and finishing. If the gradual change value of specimen dimension need to be determined, the specimen may be drycleaned and finished for many times (generally not more than 5 times). 1.3 This standard includes the following three test methods: Method A: normal material test method Method B: sensitive material test method Method C: general drycleaning test method
