本标准根据GB/T 10095规定了纺织机械渐开线圆柱齿轮及其齿轮副(以下简称齿轮、齿轮副)的误差定义、代号、精度等级、齿坯要求、齿轮及齿轮副的检验与公差、侧隙和图样标注。
本标准适用于纺织机械平行轴传动的齿轮及齿轮副。其法向模数为1～lOmm，分度圆直径为18～1600mm，基本齿廓按GB/T 1356。对于交错轴传动中的斜齿轮，亦应参照采用。当齿轮规格和精度等级超出本标准表列范围时，按GB/T 10095的规定。
