1 Scope This standard specifies terminologies and definitions, model, style, size designation, specification, design requirements, performance requirements, test methods, inspection rules as well as marking, packaging, transportation and storage of fireman's protective clothing for firefighting. This standard is applicable to the protective clothing for firefighting worn by fireman during fire fighting and rescue, and this standard may also be implemented for clothing for firefighting commanding.
