1 Scope This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements and test methods for automobile seat head restraints. This standard is applicable to seat head restraints of Categories M and N vehicles in GB/T 15089-2001. This standard is not applicable to head restraints of folding seats, side-facing seats and rearward-facing seats. 2 Normative references The following normative documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this standard.
