1 Subject Content and Applicable Scope This standard specifies the hygienic requirements for polytetrafluorethylene used as inner coating of food containers. This standard is applicable to the polytetrafluoroethylene coatings which are composed mainly of polytetrafluoroethylene and certain accessory ingredients, coated on metal surfaces such as aluminium product and iron plate, subjected to high sintering and serve as the non-sticking coatings that contact with non-acid food containers.
