1 Application Scope
This Standard specifies emission limits and measurement method for environment noise in boundary of construction site. This Standard is applicable to management, evaluation and control of construction noise emission around which there is building/structure sensitive to noise. Construction noise emission of municipal, communication, transportation, water conservancy and other construction works may reference this Standard.
This Standard is not applicable to supervision on noise emission from emergency repair and relief.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply in this Standard.
3.1
Construction
It refers to production activities in implementation stages of engineering construction and the construction procedure of building/structures, and it includes foundation construction, main body structure construction, roof construction, decoration construction (except interior decoration activities for apartment building that have been completed and handed over) and so on.
3.2
Construction noise
Noise generated and emitted in building construction and interfering environment of the neighborhood.
3.3
A-weighted sound pressure level
Sound pressure level measured with A-weighted network, expressed by (LA) in dB (A).
3.4
Equivalent continuous A-weighted sound pressure level
