1 Subject Content and Scope of Application This standard specifies design, manufacturing requirements, radioactive and surface contaminative limitation, marking and label, and stack, store, handle and operating requirements of safety for low and intermediate-level solid radioactive wastes packages. This standard is applicable to the packages of low and intermediate-level solid radioactive wastes which produced by all kinds of nuclear facilities, nuclear research institutes, as well as isotopic production and application.
