1 Scope
This standard specifies the noise limits for small and medium power diesel engine.
This standard is applicable to reciprocating piston type diesel engine whose cylinder diameter is less than or equal to 160mm (hereinafter referred to as diesel engine).
This standard may also be implemented by reference for diesel engine with a cylinder diameter greater than 160 mm and less than or equal to 200mm.
