This Standard specifies the most basic safety requirements of the belt conveyor (hereinafter referred to as conveyor) on the aspects of design, manufacture, installation, use and maintenance. This Standard is applicable to conveyors which is used for conveying all kinds of blocky and granular bulk materials as well as packed articles.
