1 Scope
This document specifies the product classification, requirements, sampling, identification, packaging, transportation, storage and safety of ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles (E10).
This document is applicable to ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles (E10) which consists of a certain amount of denatured fuel ethanol (meeting GB 18350) and performance improving additives added to the blended component gasoline of ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles without oxygenates.

one-half of the sum of research octane number RON and motor octane number MON

denatured fuel ethanol
fuel ethanol, added with denaturant, used for preparing ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles, not inedible. It can be mixed with gasoline according to the specified proportion as the fuel of vehicle ignition internal combustion engine.

3.3
ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles (E10)
fuel for vehicle ignition engines, blended with denatured fuel ethanol (meeting GB 18350) with a volume fraction of 10% added to the blended component gasoline of ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles without oxygenates
4 Product classification
Ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles (E10) is divided into #89, #92, #95 and #98 according to the research octane number.
