1 Scope This standard specifies the requirements, tests and inspection rules for dangerous goods of gas flammable in air. This standard is applicable to the inspection of hazardous properties for dangerous goods of gas flammable in air. 2 Normative References The following normative documents contain the provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this standard. For the dated references, the subsequent amendments to (excluding correction to), or revisions of, any of these publications do not apply. However, parties to agreements based on this standard are encouraged to investigate the possibility of applying the most recent editions of the standards indicated below. For any undated references, the latest edition of the normative document referred to applies. GB 19458 "Safety Code for Inspection of Hazardous Properties for Dangerous Goods-General Specifications" ISO 10156: 1996 “Gases and Gas Mixtures-Determination of Fire Potential and Oxidizing Ability” “UN Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods--Model Regulation” (Thirteenth revised edition) 3 Terms and Definitions The terms and definitions established in the "UN Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods-- Model Regulation" (Thirteenth revised edition) and the following ones are applicable to this standard. 3.1 Gas flammable in air It refers to the gas that is able to be ignited in the air at 20℃ under the atmospheric pressure. 3.2 Lower flammability limit in air It refers to the minimum concentration of gas that is able to be ignited in the air at 20℃ under the atmospheric pressure. 4 Requirements The marks, signs and dangerous goods colored labels incused, printed or pasted on the package of gas flammable in air shall be accurate and clear, and shall meet the requirements of relevant provisions specified in GB 19458.
