本标准与GB 1976-1980相比,主要修改如下:
——将原标准名称“海藻酸钠”改为“褐藻酸钠”,与现在产品名称相统一;
——将“粘度”调整为产品规格;
——将原标准中的“透明度”改为“透光率”;
——“水不溶物”指标从原来的3.0%修改为0.6%;
——将“硫酸灰分”指标改为“灰分”,指标改为18%~27%;
——去除重金属指标;
——将相关的检验方法列入附录A中。
