This standard specifies the minimum allowable values of energy efficiency, the evaluating values of energy conservation, the energy efficiency grades and test methods for AC contactors (hereinafter referred to as "contactors").
This standard applies to such contactors with rated frequency of 50Hz, rated operational voltage not exceeding 1140V and rated operating current of 9A~630A.
This standard does not apply to those contactors with additional power saving devices as well as the semiconductor contactors (solid state contactors).
