In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the following main technical changes have been made with respect to GB 24427-2009 and GB 24428-2009. — The definitions of cadmium-free battery and lead-free battery have been added (see 3.6 and 3.7 hereof); — Mercury-containing battery (mercury-low battery) has been deleted (see Table 1 of GB 24427-2009 and Table 2 of GB 24428-2009); — The mercury limit of other zinc anode primary batteries except button battery (≤ 5 μg/g) has been modified and set to ≤ 1 μg/g (see Table 1 hereof, Table 1 of GB 24427-2009 and Table 2 of GB 24428-2009); — The cadmium and lead contents of alkaline and alkaline zinc manganese dioxide battery have been modified (see Table 1 hereof, Table 1 of GB 24427-2009); — The cadmium and lead contents of non-alkaline zinc manganese dioxide battery have been modified (see Table 1 hereof, Table 1 of GB 24427-2009); — The cadmium and lead contents of zinc-air and zinc-silver oxide button batteries have been increased (see Table 1 hereof).
