本标准规定了永久安装的新电力驱动的曳引式或强制式杂物电梯和液压杂物电梯的制造与安装应遵守的安全准则。杂物电梯是服务于规定层站的固定式升降设备。它具有一个轿厢,轿厢的尺寸和结构型式不允许人员进入。轿厢借助于钢丝绳或链条悬挂或柱塞支撑,由电力或液压驱动在与铅垂线倾斜度不大于15°的刚性导轨上运行。
