The norm of energy consumption per unit production of sponge titanium and titanium ingot 1 Scope This document specifies the norm level, technical requirements, statistical range, and calculation method for the energy consumption per unit product (hereinafter referred to as "energy consumption") for sponge titanium, titanium and titanium alloy ingots (hereinafter referred to as "titanium ingots"). This document is applicable to the calculation and assessment of energy consumption , as well as energy consumption control for new, renovated, and extended projects of enterprises producing sponge titanium using magnesium reduction distillation method, and producing titanium ingots using vacuum consumable arc furnace. This document is not applicable to the calculation and assessment of energy consumption, as well as energy consumption control for new, renovated, and extended projects of enterprises producing sponge titanium using electrolysis and other methods, and producing titanium ingots using a cold bed furnace. 2 Normative references The following documents contain requirements which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this document.
