1.0.1 This code was formulated in order to assure the construction quality of electric lighting device, promote the technological progress and ensure the safe operation.
1.0.2 This code applies to the construction and acception of electric lighting device installation engineering in buildings and structures.
1.0.3 The electric lighting devices shall be installed according to the approved plan.Provided that the design is revised; the installation shall be carried out only with the consent of the original design organization.
1.0.4 Those adopted equipments and materials as well as their transportation and preservation shall be in accordance with the relevant regulations specified in the current standards of the state; when the equipments and materials are with special requirements, they still shall be in accordance with those specified in the technical document of product.
1.0.5 The equipments and materials shall be inspected according to the following requirements as soon as they are sent to the construction site:
1.0.5.1 The technical documents shall be complete.
1.0.5.2 The type, specification and appearance quality shall meet the design requirements as well as those specified in this code.
1.0.6 The technical safety measures during the construction shall be in accordance with those specified in this code, the current standards of the state and the product technical documents.
1.0.7 Before the construction of electric lighting device, the construction engineering shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1.0.7.1 For the installation of fixtures, the obstructive templates and scaffold shall be dismantled;
1.0.7.2 The plastering of ceiling plate and wall surface shall be completed as well as the land clearing work shall be ended.
1.0.8 After completing the construction of electric lighting device, the partial damaged parts of buildings and structures caused during the construction shall be repaired.
1.0.9 When installing electric lighting devices in the brick masonry structure, the embedded hook, bolt, screw, expansion bolt, nylon plug or plastic plug shall be adopted for fixing the electric lighting devices; and it is strictly prohibited using wooden wedge. If not provided in the design, the carrying capacity of those aforementioned fixed parts shall match with the weight of electric lighting device.
1.0.10 In such locations with high or superhigh risks, when the height of fixture above the floor is less than 2.4m, the light fixtures with rated voltage of 36V and under shall be used or proper protective measures shall be taken.
1.0.11 For the electric lighting devices mounted on insulating table, the insulated parts at terminals of their conductors shall reach out of the surface of the insulating table.
1.0.12 The wiring of electric lighting device shall be fast, the electric contact shall be in good condition; the non-current carrying metal parts, such as light fixtures, switches and sockets, requiring PE or PEN, shall be used with well marked dedicated earthing screws.
1.0.13 The construction and acception of electric lighting device not only shall be in accordance with those specified in this code, but also shall be in accordance with those specified in the relevant current standards and codes of the state.
