本方法适用于饮用水、地面水及工业废水Ph值的测定。水的颜色、浊度、胶体物质、氧化剂、还原剂及较高含盐量均不干扰测定;但在pH小于1的强酸性溶液中,会有所谓酸误差,可按酸度测定;在pH大于10的碱性溶液中,因有大量钠离子存在,产生误差,使读数偏低,通常称为钠差。消除钠差的方法。除了使用特制的低钠差电极外,还可以选用与被测溶液的pH值相近似的标准缓冲溶液对仪器进行校正。温度影响电极的电位和水的电离平衡。须注意调节仪器的补偿装置与溶液的温度一致,并使被测样品与校正仪器用的标准缓冲溶液温度误差在±1℃之内。
