1 Scope
This standard is applicable to canned foods.
This standard is not applicable to canned complementary foods for infants and young children.
2 Terms and definitions
2.1
canned food
foods made from fruits, vegetables, edible fungi, livestock and poultry meat, aquatic products, grains, beans, nuts and seeds, eggs, etc., which are processed, canned or filled into metal cans, glass bottles, semi-rigid containers or flexible packaging containers, and sealed and sterilized or sterilized and sealed to meet commercial sterility requirements
2.2
swelling
phenomenon of one end/both ends/both sides of the packaging container (can, bag, bottle, cup, etc.) to bulge outward caused by positive pressure formed in the container due to chemical reactions, gas produced by microbial activities or physical reasons

commercial sterilization
