3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 2900.65, GB/T 5699-2020, and GB/T 50034, as well as the following, apply to this document.
3.1
classroom
room where teachers conduct teaching activities for students
Note 1: Classrooms include general classrooms, special classrooms and public teaching rooms.
Note 2: Special classrooms include computer classrooms, laboratories, art classrooms, music classrooms, dance classrooms, etc.
Note 3: Public teaching rooms include combined classrooms, student activity rooms, psychological counseling rooms, lecture rooms, multi-functional classrooms, etc.

3.2
secondary vocational school
various vocational schools such as regular secondary technical schools, vocational high schools, technical and industrial schools, approved in accordance with relevant national regulations to implement full-time secondary academic education
3.3
daylight factor
ratio of the illuminance at a point on the indoor reference plane, produced by directly or indirectly receiving sky diffused light from an assumed and known sky brightness distribution, to the sky diffused light illuminance produced by the same sky hemisphere on an unobstructed outdoor horizontal plane at the same time
[Source: GB 50033-2013, 2.1.5]
3.4
uniformity of daylighting
ratio of the minimum value to the average value of the daylight factor on the reference plane
3.5
writing board
non-electronic display board that can be erased after writing with chalk or whiteboard markers, and fixed with supports such as backing plates and frames
Note: Writing boards include whiteboards, chalk boards, etc.
3.6
transmitting colour rendering index
general color rendering index of solar radiation after passing through glass
3.7
visible transmittance
ratio of the visible light flux transmitted through the light-transmitting material to the visible light flux incident on its surface
[Source: GB 50189-2015, 2.0.5]
3.8
short-term flicker indicator of illuminance
measure of the degree of influence of low-frequency (within 80Hz) light output flicker in the short term without applying voltage fluctuations
3.9
stroboscopic effect visibility measure; SVM
measure of the degree of influence of stroboscopic effect in the short term when the light output frequency range is 80Hz~2000Hz
3.10
maintained average illuminance
average illuminance on the specified surface when the lighting device requires maintenance
[Source: GB/T 50034-2024, 2.0.9, modified]
4 Hygienic requirements for classroom daylighting
4.1 When the classroom adopts unilateral lighting, the light should enter from the left side of the student's seat; When bilateral lighting is used, the main lighting direction should be from the left side of the student's seat. The north classroom in the south corridor should take the north window as the main lighting surface.
4.2 The standard values of daylighting coefficients of ordinary classrooms in various light climate zones and the average daylighting coefficients of side lighting desks should comply with the provisions of Table 1.
