1 Scope
This document specifies the ordering content, manufacturing process, technical requirements, test methods, acceptance rules, and packaging, marking and quality certificates for hot-rolled light rails, baseplates for light rails, and joint bars for light rails.

5 Manufacturing process
5.1 Smelting method
Steel shall be smelted by basic oxygen furnace or electric furnace. Steel for light rails shall be refined by secondary metallurgy process.
5.2 Delivery condition
Light rails, baseplates and joint bars shall be delivered in the hot-rolled condition.**

6.1 Steel grades and chemical composition
6.1.1 Light rail
