GB/T 1226-2017 General pressure gauge
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage of general pressure gauge.
This standard is applicable to mechanical pointer pressure gauges, vacuum gauges and compound pressure gauges (hereinafter referred to as instruments) with spring tubes (C-shaped tubes, coil spring tubes and spiral tubes) as elastic elements.
Note: This standard covers stainless steel pressure gauges and pressure gauges with special shaped housings.

absolute pressure
pressure with absolute vacuum as zero reference (see Figure 1)

positive pressure
pressure greater than atmospheric pressure with the atmospheric pressure as reference (see Figure 1)

negative pressure
pressure less than atmospheric pressure with the atmospheric pressure as reference (see Figure 1)

difference between two pressures (see Figure 1)
