1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic requirements, performance indexes and testing methods for cigarette paper products.
This standard is applicable to machine-made cigarette paper.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 4687 and the following apply.

cigarette paper
special-purpose paper for wrapping cut tobacco into cigarettes

3.2
static combustibility rate
time required for a cigarette paper to be continuously smoldering for a certain length after being lit under specified conditions
Note: In s/150 mm.
4 Basic requirements
4.1 Cigarette paper shall not have any unpleasant odors that affect the quality of cigarette smoking.
4.2 Cigarette paper shall be made of native plant fibers.
4.3 There shall be no obvious differences in graphics, text or color among the same batch of cigarette papers.
