1. Scope This standard specifies determination of lead in feeds by atomic absorption spectrometry method. This standard is applicable to determination of lead in formula feed, concentrate feed, single feed and additive premix. Dry ashing method is applicable to determination of lead in feed material, formula feed and concentrate feed containing much organic substance. Wet digestion method is divided into hydrochloric acid digestion method and perchloric acid digestion method. The former is applicable to determination of lead in additive premix and mineral feed excluding organic substance. The latter is applicable to determination of lead in additive premix containing organic substance. 2. Normative References The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this standard, constitute provisions of this standard. For dated reference, subsequent amendments to (excluding corrigenda), or revisions of, any of these publications do not apply.
