本标准规定了寒冷环境用机械产品的防护类型及其使用环境条件、技术要求和试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输、贮存等要求。本标准适用于GB 4797.1《电工电子产品自然环境条件温度和湿度》规定的“寒冷”及“寒温Ⅰ”两个气候区使用的一般用途机械产品。本标准不适用于寒冷地区存在化学腐蚀、爆炸危险及海洋、船舶、矿井等特殊环境条件下使用的产品。
