本标准代替GB/T 14333-1993《盘形剃齿刀》。
本标准规定了A级加工圆柱齿轮（GB/T 10095）用盘形轴向剃齿刀的结构形式、主要尺寸、技术要求和标志、包装的基本要求。
本标准适用于加工法向模数1mm~8mm圆柱齿轮的盘形轴向剃齿刀。
