Upon mutual agreement between the supplier and purchaser, other melting methods may be used provided they meet all requirements of this specification. The melting method adopted shall be specified in the contract and quality certificate. ‌Table 1‌ Melting Methods for Alloys 5.2 Manufacturing Method for Tubes Tubes shall be manufactured using ‌hot extrusion followed by cold drawing (or rolling)‌ or ‌hot piercing followed by cold drawing (or rolling)‌. 5.3 Delivery Condition 5.3.1 Tubes shall be delivered in ‌solution-treated and pickled‌ or ‌solution-treated under protective atmosphere‌. Upon mutual agreement between the supplier and purchaser, and as specified in the contract, they may also be delivered in ‌cold-drawn or cold-rolled condition‌. 5.3.2 Recommended solution heat treatment parameters are provided in ‌Table 2‌. ‌Table 2‌ Recommended Solution Heat Treatment Parameters 6 Technical Requirements 6.1 Designation and Chemical Composition 6.1.1 The chemical composition (as-melted analysis) of the alloy shall comply with ‌Table 3‌. 6.1.2The allowable deviation of finished product chemical composition for tubes shall comply with ‌GB/T 222‌. 6.2 Mechanical Properties 6.2.1 The room-temperature tensile properties of tubes shall comply with ‌Table 4‌. 6.3 Delivery Hardness 6.3.1 The surface Rockwell hardness of ‌GH3625‌ tubes in delivery condition shall not exceed ‌HR45N 25‌ (for reference only, not for acceptance). 6.3.2 The hardness of ‌GH4163‌ tubes in delivery condition shall not exceed ‌HV 230‌. 6.4 Flaring Test 6.4.1 Tubes with a nominal outer diameter ≤ ‌150 mm‌ and nominal wall thickness ≤ ‌10 mm‌ made of ‌GH1140, GH3030, GH3039, GH3044, GH3128, GH3536, and GH3625‌ shall undergo a flaring test. After testing, the sample shall show no visible cracks, splits, or other defects.
