本标准为水轮机产品的基本标准，规定了水轮机产品的技术要求与保证、设备供货范围与备品备件、检验与验收、包装、运输及保管、安装、运行和维护等方面的基本要求，是水轮机产品的设计、制造的依据。可供水轮机如标、订货、签订合同条款或技术协议使用。本标准适用于容量为10MW及以上，转轮直径为1m及以上的混流式、斜流式水轮机以及转轮直径为2m及以上的轴流式水轮机，还适用于容量为10ＭＷ及以上的冲击式水轮机。尺寸及容量小于上述条件的可逆式、贯流式水轮机可参照使用。?
